Understand product specifications, quantities, market and timing requirements.
Global sourcing requires more than finding a supplier. It requires understanding requirements, evaluating commercial fit and coordinating the path from opportunity to execution.
Our process is designed to keep requirements clear and commercial coordination focused from the beginning.
Understand product specifications, quantities, market and timing requirements.
Explore suitable supplier and sourcing opportunities.
Coordinate available commercial information and fit.
Support communication and next-step execution between relevant parties.
We prioritize transparent communication, timely coordination and accurate handling of requirements so each sourcing opportunity starts with a stronger commercial foundation.
We start from the commercial need, not a generic supplier list.
Opportunities are considered with an international trading perspective.
Relevant requirements and next steps are kept visible throughout the process.
The objective is to create repeatable relationships, not only one-off transactions.
Good sourcing is a sequence of decisions. The clearer the requirement and the more consistently supplier information is compared, the easier it becomes to identify a commercially suitable path.
A useful sourcing brief starts with clarity. We work from the product or material description, technical specification where available, quantity, target price context, destination market, delivery timing, packaging, documentation and any known regulatory requirements.
Potential sources are considered against the commercial brief rather than selected only on price. Depending on the requirement, relevant factors can include manufacturing or supply capability, product fit, location, lead time, communication quality and available documentation.
MEFETE can coordinate requests for quotations and supporting information so offers can be compared on a more consistent basis. Price is evaluated together with specification, quantity, trade terms, timing, packing and other transaction conditions.
Before moving toward execution, available supplier and product information is reviewed against the stated requirement. Where certifications, registrations, safety data, origin documents or import permissions are relevant, these become part of the transaction checklist.
Once an opportunity is commercially suitable, MEFETE helps keep communication, clarifications, agreed responsibilities and timing aligned as the parties move toward order and execution.
For recurring needs, the value of sourcing increases when expectations and processes become repeatable. MEFETE aims to support reliable relationships that can improve speed, clarity and continuity over time.
A supplier name alone is not a sourcing result. A commercially usable option needs enough information for the buyer to assess fit: a clear product match, realistic quantity and lead time, comparable commercial terms, documentation that can be reviewed, an understood route to the destination market and a practical path for communication and execution.
Origin preferences, minimum order quantities, seasonality, raw-material availability, production capacity, freight conditions, import restrictions, required registrations and changes in delivery timing can all alter the best sourcing path. MEFETE therefore treats the sourcing brief as a controlled working document and updates assumptions when material conditions change.
MEFETE’s published scope spans eight commercial sectors, from electronics and food to industrial raw materials, machinery, personal care, energy and metals.
